Mariano Rivera got his 500th career save against the Mets in a 4-2 Yankee win last night.

The second player ever to get 500 saves, Rivera said he's not chasing Trevor Hoffman with 571 career saves.

Congratulations, Mariano Rivera.

Some would say that he only got 500 saves becasue he was a member of a team like the talented Yankees, but it takes plenty talent to get on a team like the Yanks.

In 3B Adrian Beltre's last game before surgery, He made three stops at third, while plating Ichiro, in part of a 3-run 3rd.

Jose Lopez led the way, going 3-4 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. He also had a double and a SB in Seattle's 4-2 win.
